ABOUT ME
MY ROOTS
Being a lifelong resident of Eureka and having lived the majority of my life in Ward 2, I have an in depth understanding of the issues and challenges that face this Ward and Eureka as a whole. I am a homeowner in Ward 2 and my family has lived in Ward 2 since the 1960’s. Having worked in retail in Eureka for almost half of my life I have an understanding of the issues our local businesses face day to day.
In my lifetime in Eureka, I have grown a solid and diverse network of individuals and have also built relationships with key organizations that will be instrumental if elected as city councilman. I also have a background in project management, commercial leasing and property acquisition. I am a member of the County’s Workforce Development Board and have a passion for job creation in our city. I am also a member of the Rotary Club of Old Town Eureka. As someone who grew up playing in Highland Park, I understand the value of having a fun, safe environment for the children of our community. I fully support the revitalization of Highland and Da Yas Park. My entire childhood I played youth sports in Eureka so I understand the value of our children being taught teamwork, staying physically active, and learning good sportsmanship. My background and experience will be helpful when facing decisions that shape the future of Eureka. This paired with listening and engaging with the people of Ward 2 and Eureka, will help us thrive and grow as a city.
